Frequently Asked

There are three ways in, and you don't have to take them in order.
  • The Workshop: $97. A live, 90-minute session plus Q&A. The easiest way to get started and see what this is all about.
  • The Modules: $97/month. Five self-paced modules you can start anytime. You don't need to attend the workshop first. Cancel anytime, no fixed term.
  • The 8-Week Course: $1,500. For anyone ready to go deeper: live, instructor-led, small group. A good next step once you've gone through the workshop or modules and want more.
Most people start with the workshop or the modules and go from there.
Adaptive Edge meets you where you are. Want a taste first? Start with the live 90-minute workshop. Want to build real fluency at your own pace, while experiencing the same cutting-edge AI presentation technology you're learning about? The 5-module subscription is built for that. Ready for live, instructor-led depth alongside peers who bring genuine experience to the room? That's the 8-week course. You do not need a marketing background: participants come from marketing, sales, operations, product, and entrepreneurship. You do not need prior AI experience either, wherever you're starting from, there's a format that fits.
Adaptive Edge is designed for working professionals at any level who want to build real AI fluency, not just try a few tools. Depending on how much time and structure you want right now, that could mean the workshop, the modules, or the 8-week course. It's particularly well suited for:
  • Marketing and communications professionals
  • Consultants integrating AI into client work
  • Professionals navigating digital transformation
  • Organizations shifting from product-led to market-led strategy
  • Anyone who learns better in a guided, instructor-led setting
No prior AI experience required. All levels are welcome.
No. Whether you're just getting started with AI tools or already using them regularly, there's an entry point that meets you there: the workshop for an overview, the modules if you want to build fluency at your own pace, or straight into the 8-week course if you're ready for a deeper, guided dive.
Most online courses are self-paced, self-directed, and designed to scale to thousands of participants. You watch videos, complete modules on your own timeline, and hope the content is still relevant by the time you finish. University programs move on academic cycles: by the time a curriculum is approved, the technology has already changed.

Adaptive Edge Academy is different in three specific ways:

One instructor, one cohort. Every session is led live by Michael Richter — the same instructor who designed the course, taught it at Thunderbird, and is actively working in the field. You're not watching pre-recorded videos, working through a platform, or having a different lecturer each class.

Every week has two parts. The first session introduces new content and tools. The second is hands-on: working through that week's Field Report together, live. Same core curriculum every cohort, refined from real teaching experience rather than sold to you sight-unseen.

You actually use the tools. This isn't theory. Every module includes hands-on application: you build, create, and produce real work using the tools covered, every week, throughout the 8 weeks. By the end you have a personal AI toolkit you built and used yourself.

The result is a learning experience that feels more like a masterclass than a course: intimate, responsive, and built around who's in the room.
The Workshop is delivered on Zoom and is 90 minutes plus Q&A.

The Modules are prerecorded and use a digital twin and advanced AI techniques.

The 8-week course is instructor-led via Zoom: twice a week, 90 minutes per session, over 8 weeks for a total of 16 sessions, in a small group setting of up to 10 participants. Sessions are never recorded. Attendance is part of the experience. Specific days and times are set once a cohort is confirmed. Register your interest and you'll be notified as cohorts form.
Each module includes a Field Report: a hands-on assignment tied to that week's content. It's introduced in the first session of the week and worked through together, live, in the second, so class time stays focused on doing, not just discussing.
The course covers a focused set of AI tools across the 8 weeks: Claude Desktop and Cowork for everyday AI work, prompt engineering techniques, AI-generated video and audio, MindFrames for interactive presentations, and the tools involved in building and automating your own workflows. Every cohort works through the same core toolset, so you leave with real, transferable hands-on experience, not just exposure.
At the end of the course you will have:
  • A Certificate of Completion from Adaptive Edge Academy
  • Hands-on experience across all 8 modules: tools you've actually used, not just seen
  • A personal AI toolkit you built and used throughout the course
  • A stronger foundation for continuous learning as the technology evolves

Adaptive Edge Academy is a foundational course offering, designed for learning concepts, processes, building solutions, and best practices. It is not intended as tailored consulting for your specific business. Field Reports use shared examples and tools rather than your own business, which keeps discussion open and lets everyone learn from each other's questions.

For the Modules (self-paced learning), you can of course use your own brand for hands-on learning and practice.

Consulting services for building your own business architecture, developing a product marketing strategy, or designing a custom curriculum program are offered separately. Learn more about consulting →
